towards measurable marketing objectives.

Backed by a global media business and born in a
journalist’s world, we tell stories that deliver impact and
we amplify them at scale. Together with our clients, we
want to create award winning work that can transcend
social platforms and in turn elevate influencer content
into a respected creative channel.

Our strongest commitment to our clients, however, is
our professionalism and transparency. We hold
ourselves to the highest standards and expect our

The Fifth Talent agency launch 2020

Anyone who participates in society from a fringe or
“outsider” position is part of the Fifth Estate. It refers to
those who use the power of instant, widespread
communication to influence society. Today, that’s
bloggers, activists, artists and social media content creators.

The Fifth Agency was founded on a mutual
understanding of what it means to have real influence
and how to wield it authentically and responsibly. The
team came together, connected by a passion for talent,
social expertise and a set of shared values.

We believe in the talent who are truly influencing
culture, the community guardians and the change
makers and we set out to build an agency that would
help brands connect with these voices and
communicate with their audiences in an authentic
and creative format.

Our team are encouraged to be innovative, to lead
from the front, to question the norm and to take some
risk. We want to be different, we encourage thinking
differently and we celebrate the difference in others.

We recognise the fact that inclusion and representation
isn’t a statement; it’s a constant commitment that
threads through everything we do and it’s essential to
the fabric of our society. We’re far from perfect, but
we’re committed to listening, learning and driving
change forward.

We are excited about the future of influencer
marketing in all its many forms, and perhaps, in time,
we will have helped to redefine the label “influencer”
for good.

OLIVER LEWIS

FOUNDER
& MANAGING DIRECTOR

Oliver Lewis founded The Fifth in March 2019, and The Fifth Talent a year later. He leads the agency group, running the day-to-day operations and strategy. With over 17 years media and advertising experience, Oliver previously held a variety of senior commercial and digital positions at News UK where he oversaw the organisation’s commercial digital strategy, lead digital sales and innovation of the publisher’s product and platform strategies.

JESS MARKWOOD

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS & MARKETING

Jess was one of The Fifth’s founding team members, joining the business in early 2019 to head up strategic operations and marketing. She has over 13 years’ experience in the influencer and content marketing space, having worked in a senior capacity for digital publishers, brands and agencies. She was recently featured in Business Insider as one of 10 UK female social media experts you should know.

Sam joined us on the first day of lockdown in March 2020. He leads the commercial function and his team are responsible for the overall happiness of our client roster. From finding the right clients that make wonderful business partners, to ensuring we provide a market-leading service to our partners. He has over 20 years ‘media’ experience, having spent the first half of his career at media agencies in the UK and abroad, and the latter leading commercial teams at some of the biggest and most prestigious digital publishers in the UK.

Candy Green joined The Fifth in 2019 and leads the creative team to ensure our client visions are brought to life through brilliant ideas, translating them into influencer stories that will connect with their audiences. Candy has spent the past 10 years working with clients across the social and digital space to put big idea thinking at the heart of their content.

KATIE WALLWORK

DIRECTOR,

Katie heads up our talent agency as Director of Talent. She joined the agency following two years running her own talent management roster and personal brand consultancy, where she managed some of the biggest digital content creators in social media. Prior to this, Katie led the personal brand division at Social Chain where she managed a roster of business CEO’s, including Social Chain’s Steve Bartlett.
